Letter from the CEO
Last quarter, Verso saw two important developments, both of which build on long-established Verso offerings. To begin with, we acquired a line of carrier and enterprise network management products. In late Q4 06, Verso acquired from Zhone the iMarc portfolio, which helps carriers and enterprises launch and manage network services. The iMarc product line is aligned with the Verso access portfolio, specifically our WANsuite offerings, as well as being a familiar offering to our North American distributor, in addition to bringing us new Tier-1 carrier customers.

Professional Services Update
The Professional Services Group has been busy working to consolidate service agreements across Verso from its diverse product lines. The mission is to streamline tracking and administration of technical support services to customers holding various service and warranty contracts.

At this time, the Verso Professional Services team has evaluated existing contracts and analyzed customers' needs and use patterns to develop a new service architecture-supported by Service Level Agreements. This will provide a higher level of customer service and better overall value to our channel and customers. The new service architecture, expected to launch in Q2 07, will provide tiered service level offerings, common terms and conditions, and a unified set of service levels and deliverables across products. Service packages are being designed to be easy to manage and administer as well as adding value to every Verso solution. In addition, significant technology upgrades are under way to support the new service architecture, including a unified call distribution system and new trouble ticketing platform.
